QUARANTINE STATION
NEW DATE: Tuesday 7th April – Quarantine Station Wharf Wander Tour – Manly Cost $71pp (PAYMENT DUE NOW)
Our Coach will depart Anzac Oval 8:30am and travel to North Head where we will have morning tea provided, consisting of a selection of cakes and fruits, tea/coffee before our guide takes us on our tour.
The Q Station protected Sydney residents from Epidemic Diseases such as Smallpox, Spanish Influenza and Bubonic Plague for over 150 years.
The tour takes approximately one hour and takes in the Wharf and Hospital precincts and gives us a good introduction to the history of the area.
NOTE: PLEASE WEAR COMFORTABLE ENCLOSED SHOES.
After the tour we will board our bus and travel to the Harbord Diggers Club for lunch. We have a choice from 3 mains:
Roast of the Day with vegetables
Fish, Chips and Salad
Chicken Caesar Salad with poached egg and homemade dressing Cake to follow.

COST: $335pp Twin share + $70pp single supplement, based on a minimum of 35 passengers and a maximum of 49. (subject to fuel costs)
DEPOSIT: $100 Due March meeting
BALANCE: June meeting
DAY ONE: Your journey to the South Coast & a visit to Mogo Zoo & Mogo Village. It is an easy journey of about 250 kilometres. We are lunching at the Zoo before we go exploring.
DAY TWO: Homeward bound via Braidwood and the Hinterland. Lunch at the Mercure Hotel Goulburn.
Everything included except our morning teas which are at our own expense, this gives us a chance to support the small businesses of the area.
I have asked Rod & Colleen to organise this little trip so we can do our very tiny bit for the fire ravaged communities of the South Coast.

As usual with our amazing club the holiday bookings are full and I have a waiting list but PLEASE PLEASE put your name on the WAITING LIST as I usually go through about 20 on that list, 14 months is a long time.
