30th Anniversary Luncheon 

The celebration of our 30^th Anniversary will be held on Monday 22^nd June 2020 at Engadine RSL Club.

Don Munro has agreed to become a member of the organising committee.

 Monday 9^th March – Mike’s Bar & Grill at Royal Hotel Sutherland

• A few of us went and tried out the Grill and it is great. I spoke to Mike and he is very happy to have us. (take a doggy bag, meals are HUGE.
• NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED: You can choose whatever you want from the complete Menu.
• Mike would like us to have a relaxed visit, no need to order as soon as we arrive, have a Coffee wine/beer chat and enjoy. For those who want to order on arrival feel free to do so.
• As we all know parking is a problem in Sutherland so I suggest the Train.

     Heathcote 11:29am / Engadine 11:32am / Loftus 11:35am, arriving Sutherland 11:39am

You leave the station via the side entrance towards the bus depot. The Royal is directly opposite. There is very limited parking beside the Hotel if you want to risk it.

          30th Anniversary /Christmas Luncheon

The 30^th Anniversary Committee met on Tuesday 7^th July and discussed the type of function to be held on Monday 14^th December and agreed on 70/30% 30^th anniversary type function.

The meeting discussed what if the current restrictions of 1 person per 4 square meters rule still applied in December and Club Engadine advised a maximum of 60 people.

Club Heathcote functions are restricted to 97 people and they are taking bookings on the basis that Covid does not flare up again and shut the Club down. The Club’s licence is to open at 2pm on Monday’s and they suggest Wednesday is a better day when the caterer opens in the evening and would most likely be happy to start earlier. No decision has been made.

The meeting reviewed the task list and confirmed most tasks were covered, and a function could be arranged in a short timeframe. Therefore, it will schedule its next meeting for Tuesday 6^th October 2020 at 1.30pm at Club Engadine RSL.
