6th February outing to Bondi Junction RSL was a bit of a sizzler on a we arrived to find no air conditioning, but food and company were good and for the most we enjoyed a good day. Sunday 10th - Friday 15th September - We are off to Orange and the Central Tablelands. This includes coach travel to and from Orange and to our venues. i. 5 nights at the Caleula Motor Lodge ii. Beautiful Breakfasts & Dinners and light lunches every day. iii. All forms to be filled in and returned in envelope with cash/cheque (name & outing on the envelope) OR by Direct Deposit including your NAME & EVENT. DESERT Traditional plum pudding with rum anglaise and vanilla ice cream. Continuous tea and coffee station. ENTERTAINMENT Anita Hartmann will perform 2 sets of 30 minutes with a compilation of Christmas songs, carols and popular songs. TRAVEL: Coach to leave Engadine swimming pool car park, Anzac Ave at 11am for The Gardens on Forest (there is no off street parking at The Gardens.) Coach to leave The Gardens on Forest at 3pm to return to Engadine swimming pool car park. COST: $65 per person payable at the May/June general meeting

Annual Holiday -Orange
JULY UPDATE: A BIG thank you to you all for the use of the envelope system. It worked very well as trying to manage Cash etc at the school would be impossible. Our holiday is edging ever closer, we have one or two matters to sort out e.g. Happy Hour.

Beautiful Breakfasts & Dinners and light lunches every day. Monday 7th August - Tour of the ABC in Harris Street Ultimo - then to the Harvest Buffet at Star Casino for a great lunch. There is a fair bit of walking involved on this outing. Walking down the tunnel towards Haymarket and the ABC, this takes approx 15 minutes, the tour is just over an hour and then we have a flat 15 minute walk down to the Haymarket tram stop where we catch a tram to the Casino. Closed In Shoes Must Be Worn Cost for Buffet Lunch: $36pp - Payable on the day Train times: Heathcote 8:18am Engadine 8:21am Loftus 8:25am Sutherland 8:28am Must be in the last couple of carriages, we are usually in the 2nd last carriage this puts us at the correct end of Central for the Tunnel. This will get us to Central at 9:02am. We need to be at the ABC by 9:40 and the tour starts at 9.50am We had a good response for the Sea Princess Apple Isle Cruise. 12th - 20th March 2019 - Sea Princess Cruise - Sydney Melbourne Hobart Burnie & Adelaide. I was looking forward to getting this sorted out & all our questions answered, instead I was very disappointed: 1) With our presenter 2) I felt she was unable to answer our questions. I felt for someone that had done her job for 9 years she would have known what she was talking about. It was obvious to me that she hadn’t done her research. For those of you that have already paid your deposits don’t worry they will remain in the Probus account until I can get better information. Katie & I are going to check if we can go through a Travel Agent. We will be better informed at our next meeting.

Monday 11th December - Christmas Lunch - Engadine Bowling Club - Noon for 12.30pm start until 3:45pm. The cost of the luncheon is expected to be $40pp, payable at the October or November meetings. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be provided and a dry till will be in operation. Spirits and like drinks will have to be paid for by the purchaser.
