June

JULY:  Due to the visit to Engadine High School in July being cancelled, we are now going to enjoy a SPECIAL MORNING TEA instead. The committee are sure everyone will enjoy it.

A MESSAGE FROM ENGADINE HIGH SCHOOL

The wealth of talent, expertise and experience of PROBUS members is an invaluable resource we would love to tap into in a formal capacity. We would extend an invitation to any of you who may be interested in sharing this knowledge and experience with us in a variety of capacities. Projects could include our Homework Centre, our knitting club, timber work, construction, music and of course our wonderful gardening team working with the Sustainability team. You may also have some suggestions of your own!

Due to government policy all volunteers must have a current Child Protection certificate which can be applied for online or at any Service NSW Centre.

July  There was no guest speaker today as we are trying something a little different

AUGUST:  Roland Storm

August  Another very entertaining morning was spent listening to Roland Storm.                                                                                                                                                                                            SEPTEMBER:  Brad Copelin who is speaking about the coming Invictus Games.

Today’s speaker was to have been Brad Copelin. Brad’s talk was to be on the Invictus Games. Disappointingly, Brad was unable to come due to a medical incident last night.
Jack Abernethy generously accepted my offer to be an “off the cuff” speaker. Jack’s interesting talk was about his recent overseas holiday.
