January 2014
February 2014  Monday 10th 45 of us enjoyed a great meal & catch up at Tempe Rowers. I would still like to see more new faces.

Our next outing is Wednesday 5th March at Sublime Point Restaurant, Max cost is $22.50 plus drinks. The best way to get there is the Old Princes H’way and turn off at the Sublime Point turnoff. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Our April Fools Day outing Tuesday the 1st is the Loftus Tram Museum. Morning tea 10.am, then a chat from the guide & a tram ride that should be fun.

For those who would like to join us for a lite lunch at the S.U.S. Club in Sutherland make sure you have your names on both of the lists.

You can also just do the Trams or just the Lunch whatever you wish. Cost for the Museum is $14.50 including morning tea.

The ABC have sent us an invitation to be in the Audience of Q. & A. They will provide a Free bus to pick us up in Engadine 8.30pm & return us approx.

11.30pm. Min. numbers for this is 24 Max. numbers 48. I have about 28 names so I will look into dates & who is speaking for our next meeting.

Sunday 14th - Friday 19th September 2014 - Mudgee - Gulgong - Hill End. Our holiday will be to Mudgee staying at the Parklands Resort. We will explore the township of Mudgee, historic Gulgong (the $10 note town), and Hill End, which I think is one of the most interesting places in NSW. We will also visit Gooree Park Horse Stud, as well as Gooree Park Wines. All in all, this should be one of the best trips we have had in recent years and I would thoroughly recommend it to you. We still need 6 or 8 more people, so get your name down now.
Full cost $895pp twin share - Single supplement $275pp ($55 per night).
Deposit $100pp at March meeting with balance $795pp payable at July meeting
March 2014  Monday 5th March we had 26 for our luncheon at the Sublime Point . We only lost 1 couple to the Expressway, we had them rounded up and back safe & sound for lunch.
I had four people not turn up and didn’t phone. This is not such a problem if we are going to a Club, but a big problem if we are going to a small restaurant such as Sublime Point. Please Please let me know if you can’t come.

·       Tuesday 1st April - Loftus Tram Museum - Start 10am be there by 9:45am

Our day will start with a nice hot cuppa & top shelf Arnott’s Biscuits and a chat by our guide Peter McCallum, then a look around the Museum and a tram ride being the highlight of our visit.

Cost for the Museum is $14.50 including morning tea. (Please have the correct money)

There is limited parking in the grounds but Peter advises me we can park outside on the roadside just outside the gate.

From the Museum we will move onto the S.U.S. Club in Sutherland arriving approx 12:30pm for a nice lunch. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

You can also just do the Trams OR just the Lunch whatever you wish.
