September 2014 | The final bowls event for 2014 was held at Gymea Bowling Club on 26th August and hosted by the Probus Club of Miranda. 18 players from our club had a more than enjoyable day thanks to the hospitality of ‘Miranda’, the staff of ‘Gymea’ and the spring weather. In our view 2014 was another successful year primarily due to the participatory support of our bowling members to whom we express our thanks and look forward to another social year on the Green in 2015. The initial event for 2015 is scheduled for March to be hosted by our club at Engadine Bowling and Recreational Club. Details will be available in the New Year. |

November 2014 | Five golfers played on a beautiful day but unfortunately, not having handicaps available due to our handicapper deciding to holiday at Norfolk Island and then upon return spending time in hospital, our scores have not yet been collated. The winner was PROBABLY Geoff Lewis (unconfirmed) who also was successful in getting closest to the pin on three occasions while Bruce Magee could only manage one. Well done Geoff. NEXT GAME: Friday 5th December - Boomerang Golf Course - 8am, so come along and enjoy a great day out. |
